Position: Psychologist Term: Part Time (1-2 days per week) with the opportunity to grow to full time position Location: Halifax Regional Municipality Compensation: Negotiable Start Date: Jan 2, 2013 Description: CBI Health Group is looking for a Psychologist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The primary duties will include direct patient care in the treatment of WCB, MVA, LTD and private patients. You will be working closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and kinesiologists in the treatment of injured people in the community. Qualifications:  A Masters Degree from an APA/CPA accredited university program is required. Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Psychology from an accredited university program with internship from APA-CPA accredited internship program strongly preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience satisfactory to the Employer may be considered.  Experience in performing psychological assessments, as well as knowledge of administration and interpretation of a variety of standardized cognitive and personality assessment instruments is essential.  Strong communication, organization, and report writing skills.  A demonstrated ability to work in an interdisciplinary team is desirable.  Experience and interest in counseling within a multidisciplinary occupational rehabilitation setting.  Experience and interest working with chronic pain disorders.
