The CBI Occupational Therapy team provides consultations to clients in the clinic, at home or work setting:

Life Care Plan/Cost of Future Care Assessments

A comprehensive medical review and evaluation to determine the amount of support and assistance required to attain pre-accident level of functioning. Future medical, rehabilitation, equipment, home modifications, attendant care, homemaking care, childcare, travel assistance that an individual will require for the long term is addressed.

Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)

A 1 or 2 day assessment using standardized tests and observations to identify a client's physical abilities and limitations. A Matheson approach is utilized to provide a detailed report that meets rigorous standards of validity and reliability.

Cognitive Capacity Evaluation (CCE)

A 1 or 2 day assessment using standardized tests and observations to identify a client's cognitive abilities and limitations in relation to functional and/or work activities.

Ergonomic Assessments

Ergonomic assessments and intervention help decrease the risk of work place musculoskeletal disorders and repetitive strain injuries.

Driving Assessments

Driveable's innovative technology can help the physician or the office of the superintendent of motor vehicles quickly and accurately determine the driving competence of medically at-risk drivers. Assessments are completed by Kinesiologists or Occupational Therapists.

Employee Workplace Health Education

Our Occupational Therapists are available to provide detailed information to small groups of employees on topics ranging from posture and body mechanics to goal setting to ergonomic tips and tricks.
