Occupational Therapy treatments may be conducted in the clinic, at home or work setting:

Case Management

Our Occupational Therapists liase with community based clinicians and service providers to develop and manage a comprehensive and individualized rehabilitation plan to assist clients in addressing barriers to independent performance of daily activities and return to work/school.

Cognitive Rehabilitation Programs

Our Occupational Therapists develop comprehensive programs to address a client's cognitive and emotional limitations to be carried out in the home and/or community. Interventions are designed to address educational needs, accommodation strategies, process training and functional strategies for clients and their families.

Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP)

Our Occupational Therapists are certified in the provision of the Progressive Goal Attainment Program, a 10-week intervention designed to alleviate psychosocial barriers that prevent a return to work. This program is suitable for clients with pain disorders, mental health conditions and chronic illness.

Depression and Anxiety Management Programs

Our Occupational Therapists design comprehensive programs to assist a client in managing symptoms associated with mental health conditions including depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. Programs are delivered in the home and community and are developed through consultation with clients, their families and caregivers as well as allied health professionals including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers and/or Clinical Counsellors.

Early Return to Work Program

Our Occupational Therapists consider a client's functional abilities and limitations as well as the critical job demands of the client's vocation in order to provide a written, detailed return to work plan.

Job Coaching

Our Occupational Therapists work with clients and their employers to identify barriers to successful and durable employment and design strategies and interventions to address these barriers to be used in the workplace.

Life Skills Supervision

Our Community Support Workers provide services under the general supervision of our Occupational Therapists to assist clients in performing their activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living safely within their homes and communities.

Community Reintegration

Our Community Support Workers provide services under the general supervision of our Occupational Therapists to assist clients to re-integrate into their communities and improve their abilities to independently interact in their environments.

Kinesiology/Exercise Therapy

Our Kinesiologists provide Individualized services in home and/or community based settings under the general supervision of our Occupational Therapists to develop and supervise exercise programs for clients in home, community gym and/or pool settings.
