Monarch House Opening New Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Disability Clinic in Ottawa West


OTTAWA, ON October 9 2019 - Monarch House, one of Ontario’s largest providers of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) services and support, is opening a new state-of-the-art facility in Ottawa. The interdisciplinary paediatric centre will provide a full range of services for individuals with behavior, communication, learning, motor, physical, social and vocational needs.


In celebration of the new opening at 99 Kakulu Road in Ottawa, Monarch House is holding an open house. Families can drop in on Friday, October 18 between 9:00am – 12:00pm and on Saturday, October 19 between 11:00am – 2:00pm to tour the facility; meet the team of clinicians, consultants and therapists; and learn more about the programs and services provided. The clinic will officially open on October 15.


Monarch House Ottawa West is also offering free developmental screening clinics, providing immediate consultation on behaviour, communication and learning needs. Screening clinic appointments for the Ottawa West location begin October 15, and can be booked online.

Monarch House offers an innovative coordinated approach to care, with an integrated team of behavioural experts collaborating to design and deliver individualized programs and best practice treatments. Speech Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy are integrated with Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.


Services at the new location include:

  • Parent Training Programs
  • Speech and Language Therapy
  • Group Therapy


With the Ottawa West opening, Monarch House, a division of CBI Health Group, will have eight facilities open across Canada serving over 700 families every week.
