The successful applicant will be responsible for seeing a mix of hand therapy clients. There will be a large component of WorkSafeBC clients with post surgical conditions including tendon injures, hand and forearm wounds, complex crush injuries, and fractures and tendinitis. Experience and proficiency in splinting, wound care, use of modalities, function strengthening programs, and GRTW planning are required. This role takes place in a collaborative environment with a hand therapy team that includes other certified hand therapists, physiotherapists, and kinesiologists.
This position is an ideal opportunity for a CHT looking to further their experience and skills in a well established clinic environment. By joining an existing team of 10 certified hand therapists, this opportunity will give you access to mentorship by some of the most experienced professionals in hand therapy across British Columbia. There is a $1,000 sign on bonus upon successful completion of the probation period available. Both fee for service and salary options are available. Our clinic is very busy with high earning potential for the right person!
