Why choose CBI Health Group?

Palliative care is a continuum from diagnosis of a life limiting illness, through end of life care and bereavement.

Our interdisciplinary team can provide care throughout this continuum.

We are thought leaders and collaborate with other leaders (like CHPCA and Pallium) to ensure our training reflects the latest thinking and advancements in palliative care.

Our clinical approach sets the industry standard.

Our palliative approach can be delivered wherever our services are needed: at home, long term care communities, hospitals or in one of our transitional care facilities. We can adapt our care to meet the unique needs of each client.

We have the largest and deepest network.

At CBI, we carefully match clients with caregivers who will best meet their needs – on a personal and skill level. It’s comforting to know that we work with you to ensure the fit is a good one.

Partnerships with the Canadian Hospice and Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) and Pallium Canada

CBI Health Group is proud to partner with the leading organizations dedicated to advancing best practices in palliative care, training and education. CHPCA’s work includes public policy, public education, awareness and state-of-the-art training and education materials for personal support workers/caregivers; Recognizing CBI’s clinical excellence, the official training materials offered by the CHPCA were co-developed with members of our team.

Pallium Canada is the leading provider of training materials for nurses, physiotherapists and other clinicians. Pallium Canada standards inform our training processes to ensure our clinical team applies the best practices to our care approach.

Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO)

BPSO certifies healthcare providers in the implementation of best practices in end of life care and pain management; we are proud of our Ontario certification and expect to be certified nationally in 2017.
