Where Do I Start?

At CBI Home Health we are here to help. A representative from an agency near you is your first point of contact, you can choose to ask us questions over the phone or have us arrange for a Nurse or Therapist to come to your home to visit you and/or your family to discuss your current situation, your specific needs and how CBI Home Health could help.

When we meet, we listen, we go over the care your family needs, examine the care options that we could provide, help you determine if you are eligible for government funded care or any additional funding support.  Following an assessment we will create an individualized care plan to ensure we meet all your needs, match you with the appropriate team of professional caregivers and begin care as soon as we are able.

Government Funded Care/Support

You or your family member may be eligible for government funded services, in which case our Client Care Coordinator will recommend that you first contact Alberta Health Services (AHS) or a Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) in Ontario. AHS/CCAC's will determine an individual's need for home care.

Additional Funding Support

Did you know that our staff at CBI Home Health could help you and your family investigate and arrange other potential care payment options?  Let us help you find out what your options are.

You may be eligible for funding to support care through:

  • Your personal insurance company

  • Your automobile insurance company

  • Your employer health benefits

  • Worker's compensation

  • Veterans' Affairs Canada

  • Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (DIAND)

  • Your own resources

Having us look into alternative funding sources is worthwhile as it can help to ensure that you are getting all that you need to maintain the highest quality of life possible.

To learn what funding options and additional services are available to you, please contact us and ask to speak with one of our Client Services Coordinators.
